GuruPages

I was up until after 2 this morning working hard for a few hours on version 1.2 of one of my websites, GuruPages.net.  My vision for this site has been consuming me for the past few months.  This is a website I'll be working on for the rest of my life.  The original idea was to provide tutorials and guides for free online for virtually any subject.  As the concept has developed, I've come to realize the vast possibilities.  Yesterday I came up with the inspiration of dividing each subject into topics.
A topic will be a specific field of study.  Under each topic will be classes, usually numbered in the order that they should be completed or named based on their level of difficulty (e.g. basic, intermediate, advanced).  Under each class will be tutorials, guides, manuals, study materials, flash cards, self tests, tools and resources for learning that topic.  For instance you might have a topic named Spanish.  Under the Spanish topic you might have an introduction to learning languages class, a basic words class, a basic communication class etc.
There will also be a way for you to log in and change settings, and at some point I would like there to be the control of changing color schemes to your liking.  This could be helpful for someone that wants to spend a lot of time working on tutorials or reading material because the screen could be set darker and darker screens are better on the eyes.

I'll be keeping you posted on my progress with this as well as letting you know about other websites I build.

GuruPages is an idea that I intend to keep as open as possible, and I plan to work with as many experts and professionals as I can to get things going.  This whole thing is still in it's very beginning stages, so if you have any brainstorming ideas or input as to features or layout or anything regarding GuruPages please let me know in the comments!
